[Missing out on a fun event is never cool, especially when it's a result of sleeping in for more than a week. After getting some fresh air, Russia decided to do something productive -- he volunteered at a local animal shelter! Animals are cute and (usually) not so picky about who they befriend. Especially the simple-minded ones. And that's really all he needs right now, a friend who will love him unconditionally. Or even better, an entire kennel of them!

As the Dreamberry he left on a nearby shelf along with a few other things begins recording, Russia can be seen in one such kennel. Cats and dogs are all running around, clawing, biting, barking, hissing and just being rowdy overall. His job is to round them all up and get them back into their cages. But as soon as they sense Russia approaching, everything grows dead silent.

Each animal runs back to his or her respective cage. Some of the smarter ones even manage to pull the gates closed. It would seem the critters would rather cower in terror in the corners of their respective confinements than to deal with Russia.

Well, this sucks. Russia has no choice but to call it a day and come back tomorrow.]

Nyet, volunteering.

[It was easier to keep pets that were legally obligated to stay with him. Like the Baltics. Good times. But these dogs and cats don't even really seem to like being near him.]
